Desert prices increase in June, sales dip Desert home prices rose a bit from May and are now up 24.9 percent from a year ago, according to figures released July 22 by the California Association of Realtors (CAR). The June median price was up 7.5 percent from May in the desert while statewide prices dipped 3.8 percent.
