Investors have been taking advantage of low interest rates and discounted prices to buy run-down foreclosure properties, sometimes 10 or so at a time. They fix up the properties enough to be rented until the market turns, which could take years. Borax employees are scheduling a walkout on Monday and the strike will certainly create some scary scenarios. We wish them a speedy reconciliation and return to work! "The Farmers Grove" has come to California City! A new market with fresh meats and fresh vegetables and a fresh approach to groceries and serving customers! And they are open early in the morning to late at night seven days a week!! Nice!
